“ We’ve been to Velvet taco many times, we ordered the Mexi-Cali Shrimp Taco, the Dip Trio, and a Frozen Magarita this time, and each item impressed us, as always. The Mexi-Cali Shrimp Taco was bursting with flavor - perfectly cooked shrimp paired with fresh ingredients and a delicious sauce that added just the right amount of zest. The Dip Trio (guac-elote, queso, and salsa) was a great starter; each dip was rich, flavorful, and served with perfectly crispy chips. As for the Frozen Margarita, it was the perfect complement to our meal — refreshing, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. The service was friendly, and the vibe at Velvet Taco Memorial City was fun and lively. Will definitely be back to try more from their menu. ”
“ Been wanting to try this place forever and finally got a chance to try it through ubereats as my office is close by. Ordered the say what combo which has 2 tacos, a side and chips and a soda can. The tacos I got were chicken tikka and slow roasted angus brisket. The brisket taco was superb! So filling, delicious flavor and wonderful blend of all ingredients. Tikka was also good but the brisket was my preferred one. I ordered a side of corn which was decent and creamy. The lime was inside the corn so hard to squeeze it. Chips were great. I do wish that they provide an option of adding some hot sauce. Since I ordered delivery, not sure if they have it for dine in. Nonetheless will definitely do the dine in experience and try additional tacos. ”
